Who we are
Ploos Design is a multidisciplinary creative studio, founded in 2013 by two ambitious women designers, Angelika Niarchou & Georgia Oikonomopoulou. It is based in Athens, Greece. They met each other during their studies in product design in the beautiful island of Syros & since then they design for brands diverse projects such as corporate identities, products and graphics. They have also launched successfully their own collection of products, as they always love to explore new creative fields.
Ploos derives from the word “πλοῦς” in the ancient Greek and means the good journey of a ship at sea. This is what design is for our team. A good journey and every day we have the curiosity to discover even more things about it.
Our creative sea is all the brands out there that strive for good design. We design brands, objects & systems in relation to people and their needs. We always make an extensive study of each industry, share our discoveries to our clients & map out a cohesive strategy with them, so as to come up with a solid concept that is authentic. Our creative process, from concept initiation to design development and detailing is based on an honest methodology and holistic design. These two factors helps us bring deliverables with lasting impression to their audiences.
